Jokkoo mixtape is the first close look as a collective to sonic origination. Eight tracks are compiled in it, navigating among energetic calibers and moods. By listening to it, we can perceive how diaspora is a stamp and a condition that assists them to rove through the most personal memories and heritages.

The notion of community and collective healing play a crucial role within their practices, and therefore, in each of the tracks, lyric narratives and intimate poetics have been drawn to nourish their imaginary and help them decode identities, complexities and intensities.

Emanating a mixed-blood, nomadic, emancipated and futuristic character, the music they’re presenting explores the most electronic, industrial, emotional and hybrid sound, also entering afro bass, deep fried, obscure aesthetics and the most alternative expression frequencies.
